Here's the early question of the week - what is your favorite Thanksgiving Day pie?Is it the earthy and spicy  pumpkin? Rich , juicy apple?Or the candy like pecan?  Let us know.

I'll let you in on a secret - mine has always been and will always be a good homemade pecan pie. There's something about that outermost layer that's crunnchy and nutty and sweet. It's even better when there's a huge blob of whipped cream atop it.
